What is the minimum number of players?

We'd recommend at least 4. The smaller the group, the harder the room.

What are the maximum number of players?

5–15 is the suggested group size, but we can potentially accommodate larger.

Question 3

Is there a possibility that I'll be paired with strangers?

Accepted Answer

No. Our rooms are offered to only one group at a time. When you book, your group is the only group in the room — all other slots are removed from the schedule.

Can I bring my own food and drink?

You are welcome to bring your own drink. 21+ BYOB welcome — if you come from The Saloon or Deerfield Bar & Bottle next door, drinks must be closed in transit and opened inside Mind Lock after the game-master briefing. We ask that you refrain from bringing food to limit the amount of people in our lobby at one time.

Can I play drunk?

You are welcome to enjoy beverages, but we will not allow you to play if you are sloppy drunk. The Saloon (sports bar/restaurant) and Deerfield Bar and Bottle are right in the same building! Please respect our rooms, props, and puzzles. We reserve the right to stop the game and ask you to leave if we feel you will harm yourself, others, or items in our rooms.

What if we have a group bigger than 10?

Our suggested groups are based on comfort. Larger groups are fine — we can also help you book two rooms that run at the same time.

Can I book last minute?

Accepted Answer

30 minutes to 1 hour ahead online. If we're here and a slot is open, we can sometimes accommodate walk-ins.
